Outdoor space and inspiration

Woke this morning to a beautiful, warm golden light streaming through the windows. Spring is on its way!  Living in and loving southern California has always lent itself to the indoor/outdoor relationship and I know that’s been a strong influence in the colors and textures I choose for myself and for my projects.  At the moment, we’ve had extraordinarily warm weather so everything in the yard is blooming ahead of schedule.  From my seat here on the sofa, I see creamy  yellow jasmine

a gorgeous ruffled pink hibiscus

and a delicate, dappled maidenhair fern

I ‘m so inspired when I look outside at the beauty that surrounds us each day.  There is so much to love and be grateful for!
