Friday Interior Style Files
Welcome to Summer…officially! The last Friday of each month, you’ll now see Interior Style Files as a regular feature on my blog so I can share with you a few interior products I find are excellent for coastal home interiors and luxurious living small spaces. However, today is the first official Friday of Summer so how about a little Summer style for coastal interiors and small spaces while we go into this glorious weekend?!
I’ve been doing a lot of sourcing for a client’s home lately and have come across a few great products in home décor for all tastes. One coastal element we see frequently is capiz shells and personally, I think they’re best when done elegantly, like with this table setting.
This flatware would be a perfect accompaniment!
I love this infusion pitcher for use during the Summer because you can easily add ice or fruit in the center cylinder.
And if you need a serving piece that’s a bit prettier, these glass pitchers from Cal Breed are gorgeous and fun for a Summer table or for just enjoying something cool on the patio with a friend.
Summer is one of the two biggest entertaining seasons of the year and we all seem to need extra seating for those gatherings with family and friends. The bamboo legs on these gorgeous, versatile and super stylish ottomans from Baker make an elegant statement and I think these would look terrific at the foot of a bed or tucked under a console table, ready to be put to use when company arrives.
Jamie Young’s interior products are consistently on target and extremely versatile. Whenever I’m at the LA Design Mart, I make it a point to stop in the showroom to see what’s new and I’m never disappointed! These horn nesting tables are an easy fix for a spot that needs both function and style.
Palecek continues to make eco-friendly furnishings with earth-friendly materials that don’t deplete our natural resources. Their Carlo chair would be a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a Sunday afternoon during the Summer!
I love this Carosello lamp, made from Murano glass, which was originally heated and hand-blown in Venice. However the process caused enough fires that they decided to move the factories to the island of Murano. It casts a warm glow, perfect for a small corner or entry table.
That’s it for this Friday, lovelies…what do you have planned this weekend?! Wishing you a wonderful few days!
