And the California ranch home to name a few.

Cliff May is the father of the California ranch home, his work spanning the 1930’s to the 1950’s and still prevalent throughout Southern California, a classic remnant of California architecture if there ever was one. Most I’ve seen are on the smaller side, 1200 to 1800 square feet, though you wouldn’t know you were in a smaller home, many embracing the indoor outdoor lifestyle we Californians love.   I am a huge proponent of using as much space as possible, both indoors and outdoors,  for as much enjoyment as possible and his style of architecture embraces that concept fully.
